My Recent Workout Routine
This will change as it gets nice out
To mildly brag, and also inform you, I ran a marathon in late October. I’m 5’11, I weighed 205 when I ran it, and I think I was just under the 4:30 mark (those are hours, not mile pace).
But as it got cold I stopped running and when back to lifting.
Here was my split:
Push, Pull, Rest (yes that’s it)
But my push and pull is unique because it’s also like a upper/lower split. I blended the 2. (because I fucking wanted to, that’s why).
So here it is:
I like to start every routine with legs. It gets my mind and body right. Sets the tone. gets the blood flowing.
If you have questions, let me know!!
all the best,
Ryan

That’s super cool Ryan! For me personally, I’ve found it pretty hard to balance my cardio and weightlifting routine at once in the gym. I only go for an hour, but when I really wanted to gain some muscle, I spent less time on cardio and ended up gaining some fat and muscle weight. How do you balance this?
Do you think you're getting enough volume? Quads for example I'm counting 8 sets over 6 days. Part of why I ask is because the rep ranges are pretty big. I can squat a helluva lot more weight 4x than 8.
